Sounds even better on a Nord C1.

Actually, Tony likes Nord pretty well, except for the lack of real drawbars.

There are tradeoffs, but he's burn a C-1 up!

Pretty good guy. He knew and liked my friend Winston Walls.

You should see him in a small group setting.

Killer!

It was just a joke.....just a joke. I don't think ANYthing compares to a real Hammond.........although....

Besides, you ever hear a Hammond plugged directly into a guitar or PA amp (with proper adapters, of course). Let's face it HAMMOND, without a Leslie, you're nothing, you hear me, NOTHING.

That's my point, Tony. The Nord, on the other hand, sounds pretty decent through my Traynor K4. Then of course, there's always that 600 lbs (B3 + Leslie - more if it's a C3) that makes you just luvvvv those second floor gigs. Hammonds are for studios (with good mics) and living rooms, Nords are for gigging .

The one thing I miss on the C-1 is the 13 point Leslie connection. I use a Hammond pre-amp with 1/4" connector to use a Leslie, but that means the Leslie on-off is the foot controller/pre-amp. I think the last version of the Nord two manual (don't know the number)
has the 13 pin connection as well as a custom full set of bass pedals.

GREAT GIGGING tools, for sure!

The Leslie simulator on a Nord is better than on the Hammond, IMO.
